Saban Films has publicly unveiled the official trailer for The Siege, a brawny new action thriller that sees former bodybuilder-turned-actor and filmmaker Daniel Stisen back in the spotlight following his 2021 coming-out venture, Last Man Down. Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop helmer Brad Watson directs from a script storied by Tom Paton and written by Nicole Bartlett.
Danish actor/filmmaker Shahbaz Sarwar spent close to five years between development and production for his most daring endeavor yet, Shrouded Destiny: A Star Wars Long Tale.
I’m not even halfway done with the stuff I need to get finished with but it’s been two weeks and so it’s definite time for another installment of the Hit List to help keep things kinetic and moving for our devoted stunt talents out there.
My weekend was a slow one, but I’m happy to have kept my mind a little busy with some posting. Season seven of Voltron: Legendary Defender was absolutely stellar and I can’t wait to see how the final season bookends such a virbrant, energizing sci-fi tale.
Well, I didn’t think I’d make it this week for another installment of the Hit List. It doesn’t undercut the amount of content still forthcoming, especially with San Diego Comic-Con inbound so… looks like it’ll be another full plate this season.
As such, the shortfilm itself which joins Gerhardy with lead actress Victoria Viveiros for a story that centers on a woman dispensing her own brand of justice following the murder of her ex-girlfriend. TakeDown currently has two festival runs to its legacy with splashing results from crowds this month at the Nevada Women’s Film Festival, and last year’s Action On Film Festival with several nominations to its credit including in fight choreography, action sequence and Breakout Action Actress.
The last entry is a teaser clip from Jyo Carolino’s upcoming indie action short, I Am Spartan with a full fight scene that initally premiered at MidSouthCon in Tennessee last week. The shortfilm, in whole will premiere on April 27, starring Carolino as a traumatized soldier forced to fight a new war at home in order to redeem himself. Jai Tanghal, and Drew Russom are also featured in the clip.
