ACTION DONGJA Trailer: Korean Kung Fu Kids To The Rescue In Yongminne’s Long-Awaited Film Debut

YouTube Poster

You’re forgiven if Choi Yong-min’s (or “Yongminne’s”) 2020 feature debut, Action Dongja, somehow slipped from under your POV. It did for me, unfortunately, though less so for anyone who managed to check out the film during 2020’s Bucheon festivities that summer and the Yubari crowd a year later, among others.

Fast forward two years later and the film has since pushed some poster art and at least two trailers, one of which you can catch above. As for what this is all about? Welp, it’s billed as children’s martial arts action comedy about a school boy named Jingu who finds himself in a whirlwind of adventure among a crew of young crimefighting temple monks during a botched theft.

This, and it’s a children’s martial arts action comedy? Say no more. It’s already out now in Korea so the answer as to how we get this in the rest of our eyeballs remains to be seen.
