Alexander Nevsky Ventures Into Horror With NIGHT OF THE CAREGIVER

I don’t know about you, but I have some experience with caregiving. It can be exhausting and draining though rewarding and meaningful. But I never stopped to think that being a caregiver could also be scary, at least not in the horror movie sense. Actor, filmmaker and producer Alexander Nevsky had other ideas, though.

Nevsky will be producing his very first horror film called Night of the Caregiver. According to the press release, the film is written by Craig Hamann and is about:

Hospice nurse Juliet is hired to be caregiver for Lillian, who lives in an isolated house in a remote area. Although she’s terminally ill, the elderly Lillian seems to be a cordial and sweet lady. However, as the night goes on, Juliet suspects someone else is also dwelling in the house causing she and Lillian to be in grave danger…

There are several names attached to the project: Joe Cornet (“A Prayer for the Damned”) is directing and the executive producers are Eric Brenner (“The Haunting of Sharon Tate”) and Sean Murray (“Deep Blue Sea 2”). The stars of the film include Eileen Dietz (who portrayed the demon Pazuzu in “The Exorcist,” Natalie Denise Sperl, Eric Roberts, Anna Oris, and Joe Cornet. Another exciting tidbit: Cornet directed a western thriller “Assault on Rio Bravo” which will be released in 2022.

Production of “Night of the Caregiver” is already underway in Los Angeles. Stay tuned to Film Combat Syndicate for updates.
