Director Julien Royal’s new action comedy, Baggare, is finally hitting the PR circuit with a first official poster. The film stars Nassim Lyes (Mayhem!, Under Paris, Ad Vitam) in the role of a kind everyman resigned to joining a street fighting service to help settle disputes to earn enough to care for his sick dog. Building a reputation that precedes him, he’ll be forced to use his fists when efforts to resolve conflict more civilly starts backfiring.
I caught wind of this film last year and found some scant info that turned out to be way off course, but these are definitely the key story points per the campaign as it kicked off on Monday. Baggare (or Brawl as the title so translates) opens in French cinemas on April 15.
