No, I’ve never seen The Pacifier, but the plot reads just as transparently as it does in the trailer for Alisa Shitikova’s take on Adam Shankman’s Buena Vista Pictures release in March 2005. That film saw Vin Diesel in the role of a U.S. Navy Seal assigned to babysit the children of a late scientist whose top-secret device resides somewhere in the home.
