It was back in September when Mike The Pike Productions, Inc. announced Vertical Entertainment’s acquisition of upcoming sci-fi thriller, Beyond White Space. As of last week, the Holt McCallany and Tiffany Brouwer starrer has an official trailer to whet the appetite as Vertical looks toward a limited theatrical and VOD release on December 14.
Penned by Ryan Colucci (Orient City, Suburban Cowboy) and Clay McCleod Chapman (Wendell and Wild, The Dragon’s Egg), VFX-credited Ken Locsmandi (The Matrix), Beyond White Space is set in 2150 A.D. when a deep-space fishing vessel in its final harvest of the season encounters a rare creature, mammoth in size and highly territorial. Matters get worse when a vicious band of scavengers intercept the vessel, leaving them with nothing. With no cargo and few supplies, the crew makes the daring decision to venture into uncharted territory and attempt to capture the creature for a large black-market take.
Also starring are Zulay Henao, James Devoti, Jocko Simms, Kody Kitchen and Mike Genovese.
