Actress Mao Inoue (The Eternal Zero, Yakiniku Dragon) stars from a script by Kaori Tanimoto, setting the story in 1918 when the residents of a coastal Japanese village are forced to take action due to the rising cost of rice. Also starring are Takahiro Miura and Mari Natsuki.
