It’s a new year for all of us and for some, a new year means more Noomi Rapace thrills and chills to come. The Swedish actress’s latest stint comes by way of new stills and set photos from Black Crab, directed by Adam Berg and slated for a global launch on Netflix beginning March 18.

Indio’s Malin Idevall and Mattias Montero are producing the Swedish action thriller from a script by Berg and by Pelle Rådström, based on the novel of the same name by Jerker Virdborg. Set in a post-apocalyptic world torn apart by war, Black Crab centers on six soldiers who embark on a covert mission across a frozen archipelago during a long, harsh winter, risking their lives to transport a mysterious package that could end the war. As they enter hostile enemy territory, they have no idea what dangers lie ahead or who—if anyone—they can trust. But for speed skater turned soldier Caroline Edh, the mission is about something else entirely.

Rapace stars along with Jakob Oftebro, Erik Enge, Dar Salim, Ardalan Esmaili, Aliette Opheim, David Dencik. Berg and Rapace also exec produce with Christopher Granier-Deferre, Emil Wiklund, Kim Magnusson.
