Uncork’d Blows DEATH KISS Your Way This October!

Director Rene Perez has just about wrapped up his festival run with his most recent thriller, Death Kiss. Fans who’ve been privy to catch the film with actor Robert Kovacs emerging with his killer Charles Bronson likeness in the past year can expect to catch the film on digital and VOD beginning October 2 from Uncork’d Entertainment.

DEATH KISS concerns a vigilante with a mysterious past who goes to a crime-infested city and takes the law into his own hands, at the same time protecting a young mother and her child.

Kovacs is joined by Daniel Baldwin (John Carpenter’s Vampires), Richard Tyson (Kindergarten Cop, Two Moon Junction), Eva Hamilton (horror fest fave Ruin Me), Stormi Maya, Leia Perez, Reese Austyn, and Sam Story from a script by Perez. Jeff Miller (The Toybox) serves as producer via Millman Productions with Gary Jones exec producing from Mosquito Entertainment, and Zach Carter serving as supervising producer.

“Rene’s movie is very cool and stylish. It feels like a throwback to the Cannon films of the ’80s,” says Miller. “After an enthusiastic response at Texas Frightmare Weekend in May, we’re excited to show the film to the general public.”

A DVD release will follow suit on December 4, host to special features, including a director’s commentary and the trailer.
