Daniel Bernhardt remains a force to be reckoned with, as an actor with multiple facets to his craft that make him a viable choice in the action arena. Steve Kostanski’s Deathstalker is his latest testament to audiences, reviving the iconic Roger Corman sword-and-sorcery property with a release on October 10 from Shout! Studios, a Radial Entertainment company.
In Deathstalker, the Kingdom of Abraxeon is under siege by the Dreadites, heralds of the long-dead sorcerer Nekromemnon. When Deathstalker recovers a cursed amulet from a corpse-strewn battlefield, he’s marked by dark magick and hunted by monstrous assassins. To survive, he must break the curse and face the rising evil. Death is just the beginning… of great adventure!
Slash and Rodrigo Gudino serve as executive producers under the BerserkerGang label, and with this, we get an official trailer ripe with practicality and visual homages to 80s and 90s film aesthetics. It’s gory, spectacular, and Bernhardt rules.
