ENHANCED: ‘Kill Order’ Director James Mark Begins Principal Photography On Sci-Fi Action Thriller In Toronto

Five years after the development and production of stunt professional and filmmaker James Mark’s feature debut, Kill Order, the film released nearly a year ago to the approval of fans offering up fellow stunt performer, actor Chris Mark up for his first feature lead role.

The two are now back at on their Toronto set per their newest production, Enhanced, for which the Mark brothers had been teasing via their Instagram stories, including Chris who serves as fight choreographer. The now two-time director is penning the script with co-scribes Matthew K. Nayman and Peter Van Horne.

Here’s the logline: The film follows a disenfranchised soldier and a super-power fugitive working together to stop a reality bending experiment that can wipe out humanity.

19-2 series star, actor Adrian Holmes, who has amassed over 137 film and television credits including Arrow, Elysium, and the upcoming V Wars for Netflix, is leading the cast. Joining in is Canadian Icon, figure skater Elvis Stojko, along with actress Alanna Bale (Cardinal) and George Tchortov (Designated Survivor).

The film pairs veteran producers Plato Fountidakis (Lost Girl) and Bruno Marino (Gridlocked) who have secured foreign distribution rights by WTFilms.

As I’ve mused about before in previous reports, James is no stranger to action, having severed as a stunt performer on some of Hollywood’s biggest films. Some of these including Robocop, Pacific Rim, Wolves and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. His next big screen credit will be the upcoming DC adaptation, Shazam!, which opens on April 5 from New Line.
