The official trailer has arrived for Escalation, the new action crime thriller starring Chris Mark, who is taking full advantage of his skillset and experience in stunts and screenfighting with several acting credits on his belt. You’ll know if you’ve seen him in films like Kill Order and Enhanced as well as several TV appearances including in Max series “Warrior” and Amazon’s “The Boys” to name a few.
Written by Brett Caron and Matthew Nayman, Escalation centers on an ex-cop who teams up with a detective to track down his brother’s murder. Jimmy Mak directs the pic with George Tchortov, Cindy Sampson, Nina Kiri, and Milton Barnes also starring, with Vertical Entertainment heading up the film’s theatrical release in the U.S. on September 1. (If it comes to Digital and/or VOD on the same day then I’ll update this piece, as the news coverage on this one seems to be on the real quiet end of things).
Don’t be surprised if you’re scanning the web for details on this film and you find clips of it floating around on social media. I believe it was because Escalation was released in Canada on iTunes earlier this summer, otherwise I’m looking forward to seeing this film myself legitmately once it heads my way. Mark is a pure talent and his work shows. Check it out!
