The third and latest installment of the Raiders trilogy from director Jingle Ma may have taken thirteen years. Alas, it’s as they say “all things in good time”, and on August 17, fans who’ve pined for a follow-up to Tony Leung’s suave espionage/spy action stylings seen in Tokyo and Seoul can now take a gander at Europe Raiders on August 17 with this week’s trailer now making the rounds.
For years, Mr. Lin Zaifeng and Miss Wang Chaoying have held the ranks of the best in the business, a position no one could touch. As both are rival and friend, they also held mutual respect for each other as well as enmity. What started as a simple contest between the two bounty hunters is when the “Hand of God”, a little bot capable of immense destruction, draws out the European mafia, the CIA and Euro-pol special agents into an all-out manhunt. Lin and Wang discovers each other’s true identities but are they able to clear the air between them and work together against a real threat? While finding out where the “Hand of God” is hidden?
Kris Wu of xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage fame also stars with Tiffany Tang, Jennifer Du and George Lam along with expected appearances by Cung Le and Jeeja Yanin.
