Last year was one of the best and finest years writing and film critiquing thanks to the 23rd Fantasia International Film Festival. My own coverage was local though as I didn’t manage to travel to Montreal, and thus, I fully understand the sadness of not getting to share the on-site experience with festival organizations forced to recalibrate their goings-on amidst the fallout of Covid-19.
