FAST & FURIOUS: SPY RACERS Takes Off Online With New Stills

Next May will determine how the first of the final two installments of the Universal Pictures’ Fast saga will conclude following their recent successful trevails with Hobbs And Shaw.

Until then, the studio’s heavy-handed efforts have since paved the way for its partnership with DreamWorks Animation for Netflix original series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, since its announcement back in June. Netflix now is revealing a voice cast list, a raft of first look stills and a poster, and is also announcing a premiere date set for December 26.

The series will focus on Tony Toretto (Tyler Posey), the young cousin of live-action anti-hero Dom Toretto from the films. Following in Dom’s footsteps, Tony and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league serving as a front for SH1FT3R, a nefarious crime organization bent on world domination.

Rounding out the lead voice talent are Camille Ramsey (American Vandal) as SH1FT3R wheelwoman Layla Gray, Luke Youngblood (Harry Potter) as 13-year old tech whiz Frostee Benson, Charlet Chung (Overwatch) as master artist and natural spy named Echo, Jorge Diaz (Jane the Virgin) as the team muscle and sweetheart Cisco Renaldo, and Manish Dayal (The Resident) as SH1FT3R syndicate head Shashi Dhar.

Also voice-starring are Similce Diesel as Frostee’s younger sister Sissy, Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton) as the team’s secret agent liaison Ms. Nowhere, and Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal) as local knucklehead Mitch. Carlos Alazraqui (The Fairly OddParents), Eric Bauza (The Adventures of Puss in Boots), Grey Griffin (DC Super Hero Girls), Kevin Michael Richardson (Trolls: The Beat Goes On!), Fred Tatasciore (Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia), and Tru Valentino (Archibald’s Next Big Thing) also guest star.

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, is exec produced by franchise staples Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz and Chris Morgan, along with Tim Hedrick (DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender) and Bret Haaland (All Hail King Julien).
