Fighting Spirit Film Festival 2020: A Full-Day’s Line-Up For The Single-Day Festivities For November 7

Like with most of the festivals this year, good folks over at Fighting Spirit Film Festival have had to harness plenty of its own spirit to try and mitigate its 2020 events through the global Covid-19 pandemic.

As of late though, the festival has resolved to a one-day presentation that’s already fully-loaded and brimming with some promising titles, all screening at Premiere Cinemas in Romford with Covid-19 safety protocols in place.

There will be two shortfilm blocks from the top, followed by a presentation of the Dead End shortfilm trilogy starring Bryan Larkin and Julian Gaertner, and a pair of feature presentations to boot, starting with Yang Yun-ho’s rousing, dramatic martial arts period epic, Fighter In The Wind, featuring Yang Dong-kun, Masaya Kato, Aya Hirayama and Jeong Tae-woo, with Jung Doo-hung, Choi Ji-woong and Sachiko Kokubu.

The second will be Matt Routlege’s feature directing debut, Tribal: Get Out Alive, with Zara Phythian, Ross O’Hennessy and Thomas Dodd, which took home a Best Action Choreography win for this year’s virtual IDTV Action Fest, as well as runner-up for Best Feature, followed by a cast Q&A.

Tickets are now on sale with more information and details available at the official festival website.
