More than twelve years since its inception as an original indie-made franchise through webseries and novel sales, author and filmmaker François Descraques is back to manifest his longstanding creation with the feature debut, Le Visiteur Du Future.
The time-travel adventure stars Florent Dorin who sheperded Descraques’s webseries in the lead role as a rogue time traveler who battles his way across time to solve problems and prevent disasters. Our hero’s latest stint now sees him taking on an apocalyptic zombie dystopia, joined by co-stars Arnaud Doucret, Enya Baroux and Raphaël Descraques who now get to share a glimpse of themselves in the first teaser now online above.
Alice is a young woman opposed to the construction of a power-plant, an idea of her own father who is a member of the parliament. But a weird Visitor from the Future takes her to 2555, a future destroyed by the explosion of that same power-plant.
According to the Visiteur, the premature death of her father would prevent this future from happening. But they’ll have to be quick because the Future Police is hunting them down so they don’t alternate their timeline! Alice must achieve the impossible: save her world and save her father.
Futuristic action adventure thrills await the film’s French release currently set for September 7 from distro banner KMBO.
