FURIES Rage In The Final Trailer For Veronica Ngo’s Long-Delayed Action Prequel

YouTube Poster

After a long and extensive release delay following a campaign crank-up with a teaser trailer back in Spring, the new Vietnamese action thriller, Furies is guaranteeing audiences a promising thrill ride with a brand new trailer and local release date to boot, now slated for December 30. This could finally mean a 2023 release in other territories including here in the states, so we’ll see, as it’s been a long time coming for the film’s rollout after Ngo’s inaugural turn in front of the lens offsetting the universe for director Le Van-Kiet in 2019’s Furie.

Alas, we turn to actress and model Dong Anh Quynh who inherits the title role from the previous film’s antagonist, with Ngo in the director’s chair, and a storyline that chronicles our villain’s origin story beginning in the roaring 1980s. Also starring are Rima Thanh Vy and recording artist Tóc Tiên from a script by Ngo’s Tam Cam scribe Aaron Toronto, and with action sequences by Kefi Abrikh, who also worked on the first film.

Check out the trailer above. It’s real exciting stuff!
