GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE Teases The Legacy Of Its Franchise In The First Official Trailer

A creepy farmhouse in the middle of nowhere, unexplainable creepy things happening…no, this isn’t a set up for just another haunted house film.

A trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife dropped on Monday, giving fans their first look at Jason Reitman’s film. The original film came out in 1984 with a sequel following in 1989.

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan.

I love everything about this so far: the beginning that makes it look like it’s not a typical Ghostbusters film, the discovery of the ghost catcher, the car! I could go on and on. The 80’s child in me is dancing in excitement and I have just one question:

Who you gonna call?

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is set to be in theaters on July 10, 2020.
