GIVE ME AN A Official Trailer Reveals A Chilling Post-Roe American Nightmare

Last year’s daunting attack on womens’ rights by SCOTUS became a turning point for the womens’ rights movement. It certainly drew inspiration for a team of filmmakers – all women – to galvanize their efforts in lending a voice to the fight that has since arrived in the form of dark comedy horror sci-fi anthology, Give Me An A.

17 films. 17 female filmmakers. One Supreme Court ruling. A countless number of women. From satire to horror to science fiction, GIVE ME AN A is an urgent & passionate response from a group of women committed to protecting or securing their right to privacy, bodily autonomy, & healthcare. These films are a unified voice that tells the world how they feel about the overturning of Roe V Wade.

Shepherded by director Natasha Halevi, Give Me An A will release on VOD from June 29, and in theaters in select cities, with 100% of the theatrical proceeds going to various local womens’ health organizations including Chicago’s Midwest Access Coalition, Austin’s AVOV, Atlanta’s Feminist Women’s Health Center, Los Angeles’ National Network of Abortion Funds, and Brooklyn’s NY Abortion Access Fund.

Collider brought the exclusive on Thursday with assets including an official trailer from XYZ Films, in which my review from last year’s Fantastic Fest screening was quoted, and for the depressive cloud I’ve been living under all day, this was motivating to see, and I am truly thankful.
