Director Gareth Huw Evans and Netflix are on the war path now to promote action crime thriller, Havoc which rolls out on April 25. It’ll be Evans’s first time in this space of film since The Raid after directing Dan Stevens starrer, Apostle, and having a creative hand on the small screen for hit series drama “Gangs Of London” – just something I thought shouldn’t be overlooked here.
To this, we get Tom Hardy starring as a jaded cop on a mission to rescue a politician’s son. The trailer dives into that quite a bit, and the added flair of action and spectacle makes for a delightful invite for fans who’ve missed Evans in his element since The Raid films. Havoc also stars Jessie Mei Li, Forest Whitaker, and Timothy Olyphant, as well as Luis Guzmán and Sunny Pang among the roster.
