Remember within the last two-and-a-half years when Steven Paul and Justin Lin were attached to their own respective Lone Wolf And Cub remakes? No? Well that’s okay. When there’s no movement on a project, it’s easy to lose track or interest. As the saying goes: Out of sight, out of mind.
So too, goes the saying for the good folks over at Japan Society who’ve since taken to their official platforms to bring your attention as much as possible to next month’s series, The Complete Lone Wolf And Cub. The series, hailing from Toho and based on the seminal manga classic works from Futabasha and heralded by U.S. banner Dark Horse Comics, is shaping up for a two-day event at Japan Society between Friday, January 25 and Saturday, the 26th.
The organization is also holding a contest for ticket holders with prizes, including the Lone Wolf and Cub Omnibus Vol. 1, 2 & 3, and a copy of the newly-published Lone Wolf and Cub Gallery Edition, which features illustrations reproduced at original size on heavy-stock art paper.
