Hey NYC! SEE IT BIG: STUNTS! Kicks Off This Friday At The Museum Of The Moving Image!

It wasn’t too long ago that the curators of the Museum Of The Moving Image launched its upcoming gallery celebrating the Mission: Impossible franchise which runs through December. To add, the museum is now extending the ceremony to a raft of stunt-loaded action adventurers in See It Big: Stunts!.

That’s twenty titles in total for screenings which runs from April 25 through June 15 with black-and-white classics like Steamboat Bill Jr. and Safety Last, 007 spy adventure Thunderball, and Hong Kong actioners The Heroic Trio and Executioners, and Police Story, to contemporary hits like The Fast And The Furious, Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior, District B13 (a.k.a. Banlieue 13), Gareth Huw Evans’s gangbuster hit, The Raid: Redemption, and David Leitch’s Atomic Blonde, and more. The announcement is especially timely with the proliferation of stunts finally taking hold in the awards arena via the Oscars with a due date set for 2027.

Tickets for fans and Moving Image attendees are now available with further updates on special guests still forthcoming.
