Hi-YAH!: Martial Arts And Miike Madness Go Mobile In May!

First Love

Well Go USA

I long wondered if and when Well Go USA’s Hi-YAH! portal would have a downloadable app apart from its streaming services via Amazon or Hulu. On Friday, the company proudly presented the official launch of its downloadable app for mobile devices and televisions.

The Planos, Texas firm launched the niche-driven channel back in 2016, home to more than 500 hours of quality and commercial-free film favorites like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa, and acclaimed directors like Johnnie To, Yuen Woo-Ping, Wilson Yip, and Tsui Hark to name a few.

As of the launch, that roster now includes their exclusive streaming release of one of Well Go USA’s proudest titles to date, First Love, billed as part of part of the “Miike Madness” collection featuring many of the classic and fan-favorite films from iconic director Takashi Miike.

“With the launch of the app, Hi-YAH! now allows action and martial arts fans unparalleled access to stream our content on any device,” said Jason Pfardrescher, EVP, Digital Distribution at Well Go USA Entertainment. “The app offers an exceptional entertainment experience and makes our extensive library of movies, TV series and exclusive content much more accessible to consumers.”

The Hi-YAH! app, available for devices and systems such as iOS, Android, Roku and Amazon Fire TV, is hosting eligibility for a 30-day free trial to precede a monthly subscription fee of only $3.99. Learn more about Hi-YAH! at hiyahtv.com!
