Gearing up for a March 23 release around its parts, South Korean crime pic, Hot Blooded, is bringing the dramatic thrills and action to tease the appetite some in the official trailer just above. Cheon Myeong-kwan makes his debut from his own script, adapted from a 2016 novel by author Kim Eon-Soo.

Kuam is a shabby port town in the shadow of stunning port city of Busan. Hee-su is a third-rate gangster who has been acting like a hotel manager under Don Son for 20 years. Seemingly out of nowhere, Yong-kang, who fled the country as a murder suspect, returns home and begins causing trouble all over town, which only adds pressure to Hee-su.

“Drugs? Port? What’s going on?”

When he finally comes to, he’s in the middle of this turmoil. What decisions can he make to save his pitiful soul?

Hot Blooded stars Jung Woo (New Trial), Kim Kap-soo (Steel Rain), Choi Moo-sung (A Resistance), Ji Seung-hyun (Man Of Men), Kim Hae-gon (The Drug King), Yoon Ji-hye (Asura: The City Of Madness), Lee Hong-nae (My Punch-Drunk Boxer), and Lee Sung-woo (Unstoppable).
