Among his noted hits, actor and filmmaker Ringo Yu (a.k.a. Yu Rongguang) is best known as the imperial soldier who chased Jackie Chan in the wild west in Shanghai Noon (2000), and even as the limber outlaw immortalized with Donnie Yen in Iron Monkey (1993). Nowaday, he has since taken to the director’s chair once again for this weekend’s upcoming release, Invisible Fist.

He also co-stars in the film, enlisting actor Zheng Renshuo and actress Gina Jin to lead the story of a coach who finds prodigious boxing potential in Yusheng, a man born with a disability whose father is all but against him being in the ring. He ultimatey wins his first match, the ultimate question hereforth is, ‘will it be enough for the challenges that await him outside the ring’?
