From what began as a 2003 comedy short to a cult series favorite a little over ten years ago as a Globes de Cristal favorite, actor Alexandre Astier is back and wearing multiple hats once more to shepherd his take on classic Arthurian folklore in Kaamelott – Premier Volet.
Astier returns to the role of King Arthur, delivering an offbeat comedic adventure that sees Arthur hiding in Rome and plotting “his comeback to oppose the army of his former friend Lancelot”. French outlet SND unveiled the first teaser on Wednesday and a French theatrical release has been set for July 29.
