Raka (Rio Dewanto), an honest courthouse security officer, grows restless as he witnesses the law being manipulated by money, connections, and lies. Until one day, his wife, Nina (Niken Anjani), a young pregnant prosecutor, becomes the victim of a brutal crime committed by a wealthy man’s son, protected by a cunning lawyer named Timo (Reza Rahadian). Trapped in a corrupt system and swayed by the power of social media, Raka slowly loses his faith, until he finally decides to take over the courtroom—with a gun in his hand.
This actually marks the second time as of late that I had Fuadi on my radar so it’s great to clock him again after The Draft which was a terrific little horror oddity, and the trailer below feels like another winning notch on the belt for action fans. Check out the trailer:
