Actor Kevin Nash is tackling Nollywood next month with the theatrical release of home invasion thriller, Klippers. The film comes from actor and filmmaker Ofu Obekpa who’s been steadily building a name for himself on both side of the lens, even sharing unlisted credits on Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther.
Smith (Kevin Nash), a ruthless loan shark commissions Steven (Ofu Obekpa), to kill his militant ex-wife (Libby Blanton) for the repayment of his debt, but once he becomes familiar with his target, a psychotic assassin (Conphidance) is sent to finish what was left undone.
Klippers is opening in Nigerian theaters on August 10. There’s no news yet on its stateside release or anywhere else, although considering how long it took for the first trailer footage to arrive which was late last year from what I’ve discovered, I reckon it’ll be a while before North Americans get to take a stab at it in some way shape or form.
