LAKADBAGGHA Trailer Delivers Bone-Breaking, Head-Bashing Krav Maga Action In Defense Of Animals!

Currently enjoying a run in cinemas as of a little over a week ago is Lakadbaggha (or Hyena), from director Victor Mukherjee. The Hindi-language action film stars actor Anshuman Jha in his latest role which found him training at one point in New York City under the stewardship of Vicky Arora and Krav Maga expert Tsahi Shemesh for a period of six months. That effort is at the center of the action that ensues, as can be sampled in the trailer that launched a few weeks ago following the film’s premieres at the 19th South Asian International Film Festival New York and 28th Kolkata International Film Festival last year.

Animal Lover Vigilante vs Animal Abuser Kingpin.

Present Day – “Street dogs across Kolkata are disappearing” – An antagonist runs a crazy wicked agency using the Kolkata port to sell animals – from rare turtles to (extinct) birds – but on the side also takes up illegal contracts from middle class bengali “bhodroloks” (Gen-tlemen) to take out “disturbing” street dogs.

A protagonist, who lets his punches and flying kicks (Krav-Maga) do all the talking and becomes the much needed voice of our turmoiled co-habitants (Dogs) on the planet. But it ain’t just an action movie.

Lakadbaggha also stars Ridhi Dogra, Paresh Pahuja and Milind Soman, and features action sequences by Kecha Kamphakdee and his Jaika Stunts unit. Check it out!
