Big scale visual effects spectacles have seen a notable evolution. Hollywood export Renny Harlin, is part of that very growth having spent several years in China growing his craft, and with his latest offering, Legend Of The Ancient Sword, now in tow for October.
Leehom Wang leads the cast in a story about a warrior who ventures away from home on the count of a fateful occurrence. With the help of friends along the way, a quest begins to find pieces of an enchanted sword to stop the forces of evil from bringing destruction unto the world.
Also starring are Victoria Song, Godfrey Gao, Karena Ng and Archie Kao among the cast for the film’s China release on October 1.
