Stardust Pictures has been busy campaigning one of its latest romantic action drama releases for a little while now with Fuga Yaegashi’s Love Punch!. The movie is based on author Nanao’s hit shojo manga and stars Jyutaro Yamanak and Aloha Takamatsu from a script by Ryo Kawasaki.
The promo footage alone proffers a blend of the kind of eye-catching beat ’em up action and thrills I usually enjoy for my cinema, coupled with a dramatic tale of youthful romance between two classmates. This one follows the story of two top students from rival high schools who find themselves in each others arms in the midst of a ceasefire…
I mean hey, it’s what the world needs now, methinks.
