Marc Natoli Reunites With John Fallon For Medieval Action Epic, HERETIC

Heretic

Actor and martial artist Marc Natoli is readying his sword game for John Fallon’s medieval epic, Heretic, from Bruise Productions. Natoli reunites with Fallon following their involvement on director Ben Whimpey’s latest action short, The Proposal, which drew positive responses following screenings in October at Sitges.

The film is set in 1149 and centers on William and Roland, two Templars on their way back home after losing the second Crusade. They are soon forced to battle a slew of varied enemies, the pity-less elements and their own inner demons while trying to elude a mysterious assassin who is hunting them down.

As confirmed by Fallon via Twitter, Natoli will play the role of Davies, joining actors Paul Sloan (The Night Crew, I Am Wrath) and Mark Lawson (One Life To Live) among the growing cast. Fallon, in his sophomore directing entry since The Shelter in 2015, has penned the script with Horsehead scribe Karim Chériguène.

Bruise is producing with JoBlo Movie Productions. Natoli will also serve as co-producer via Natoli Productions whose Lee Natoli will exec produce. Filming begins in Armenia early next year.

Fallon’s craft on camera will also see him appearing in Aussie rising star actor Paul Allica’s upcoming The Siege Of Robin Hood from director Stu Stanton.
