Genre fans in the U.S. are just a week away from the release of Fist Of The Condor, the latest from writer/director Ernesto Diaz Espinoza and action star Marko Zaror. TKD Life Magazine has uneviled an exclusive behind the scenes featurette which you can view at the bottom of the page, featuring Zaror in action along with the film’s cast, lending some insight into the characters and setups that comprise the story.
Fist Of The Condor centers on the tale of a monastic martial arts journeyman whose quest to protect the ancient secrets of the fighting arts used against 16th century conquerors finds him a war that threatens to become more personal, endangering everything he’s worked for to become the warrior he long strived to be. Also starring are Gina Aguad, Eyal Meyer and Fernanda Urrejola, along with Jose Manuel and Francisco Castro, and with action sequences by Zaror himself.
Well Go USA will screen the film to kickstart the Alamo Drafthouse Fantastic Fest Presents series, screening in select Alamo Drafthouse locations on April 4, with Zaror attending special Q&A screenings at the Manhattan and Staten Island in New York City locations on April 4 and April 5, respectively. The company’s streaming imprint, Hi-YAH! will launch the film exclusively on Friday, April 7.
