While Disney+ subscribers continue to get their fill with a lean-and-mean line-up of hit streaming programs, those viewers can still fully expect to see their butts in movie theater seats soon, just in time to bear witness to the post-Avengers fourth and next debut phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Beginning this November with Marvel’s The Eternals, director Chloe Zhao marks her fourth feature film to date after notching up some career buzz since her Camera d’Or-nominated 2015 drama, Songs My Brothers Taught Me. Her most recent feature, Nomadland starring Frances McDormand, scored several wins last year, including TIFF’s Peoples’ Choice Award, and the Leonard Maltin Tribute Award.

Marvel Studios’ Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.

The first teaser trailer for Marvel’s The Eternals is host to some beautiful imagery to start with ahead of its November 5 release. The cast includes a bevy of talents headlining Captain Marvel co-star Gemma Chan (at Marvel head Kevin Feige’s behest, no less) now for the Eternals’ fold, along with Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Don Lee, Salma Hayek Barry Keoghan, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Lia McHughn and Kit Harrington.
