Filmmaker Patryk Vega is currently stirring about in the UK with his latest thriller, Polityka. The film is reportedly looking to set another box-office milestone for the controversial filmmaker behind other recent releases like Botoxx and mob thrillers Women Of Mafia and Women Of Mafia 2.
On Thursday, Polish Film Club announced its acquisition and planned stateside releases of the latter three, and on the heels of all three titles having amassed positive box office returns: Women of Mafia earned nearly £900,000 while his 2017 horror thriller, Botoxx, amassed over £1 million, making it the third highest foreign language film that year.
Women of Mafia also opened in Poland last earning its place as the second highest grossing film of 2018, and outstripping everything from Avengers: Infinity War to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. That’s pretty darn awesome for a film that isn’t based on a comic book property given the nature of such productions and the copious stacks of cash those films tend to earn, especially Infinity War, as grand and epic as that movie was for fans.
The goal now will be to release these titles for the first time on VOD in Ireland and the U.K., as well as markets in the U.S. and Canada courtesy of Polish Film Club, beginning with the release of Botoxx on October 21. Women Of Mafia and Women Of Mafia 2 will release later this year in Autumn.

Sex? Check. Drugs? Check. Mafia bloodshed? Check. Surgical gore? Check.
