Writer/director Emerald Fennell’s feature debut is all about that revenge life in Promising Young Woman. Focus Features will open the film in the U.S. on April 17 with actress Carey Mulligan (Drive, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps) in the lead, and we now have an official trailer to start things off.

The film is set to go firsty before Sundance in the new year. Mulligan stars with Laverne Cox, and Bo Burnham, and an ensemble cast that lists Alison Brie, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Max Greenfield, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chris Lowell, Sam Richardson, Molly Shannon, and Clancy Brown.
