RAMBO: LAST BLOOD Trailer Spills Online With A Roaring Vengance!

It’s been 37 years since actor and cinematic trailblazer Sylvester Stallone led the beefcake era of the 80s with Ted Kotcheff’s novel adaptation, First Blood, centered on a stoic war hero fresh from battle and a world of survivor’s guilt triggered by an unruly sheriff.

Folks who saw those events unfold in the 1982 hit movie know the unyielding nightmare that ensued, unleashing the name John Rambo into commercial circuitry, and ultimately, household fandom with years of multimedia and merchandising in tow before bookending with a trilogy by 1988.

Now, twenty years later and following a fourth outing from Stallone with Lionsgate taking the mantle from Orion and Tristar, it still appears that our titular walking one-man army still has a few more suckers to bring the receipts to with the impending release of Rambo: Last Blood. Past press reports have all but built a world of hype surrounding this fifth and seemingly final venture that now sees Stallone recalling worldly evils one last time to save a young woman and take down a cartel.

Almost four decades after he drew first blood, Sylvester Stallone is back as one of the greatest action heroes of all time, John Rambo. Now, Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills to exact revenge in a final mission. A deadly journey of vengeance, RAMBO: LAST BLOOD marks the last chapter of the legendary series.

The official trailer is finally, and officially, online and in deservedly pristine form after some knuckledragging cockwomble leaked the darn thing out of Cannes last week. And you know what? The trailer actually looks damn good in HD! Whodathunkit?

Get The Gringo helmer Adrian Grunberg directs what looks to be another stellar exit for Stallone following Rocky spin-off sequel, Creed 2. Rounding out the cast for the films September 20 release are Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adrianna Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim aka Yenah Han, Joaquin Cosio, and Oscar Jaenada.
