New stills are on the horizon for UK actioner, Rupture, from director Ranjeet Marwa. Starring Ip Man 4 actor Mark Strange, the film centers on an ex-convict named Raven, out for revenge against those who wrongly put him behind bars.
We shared a pack of stills back in September along with anecdotes from Marwa on the project who added a bit more context pertaining to Rupture, and its relationship to the previously completed Exiled: The Chosen Ones, which still awaits a 2022 release.
“When people watch my previous movie Exiled they will notice the connections between the 2 movie.” Marwa said back in September. “I wanted to connect the worlds in a very small way and hopefully people will notice that.”
That film stars Sunny Pang and Hannah Al Rashid, and sees a horde of prison inmates in a future dystopia, trapped in a kill facility where they’re forced to kill each other for affluent spectators. I’m curious to see what easter eggs Marwa will have included to hint at the connection between both films.
