RUSSIAN RAID: Beatings And Beatboxing In The Explosive Final Trailer

Debut director Denis Kryuchkov’s new thriller, Russian Raid, is revving up an October 1 release within the region, and here to remind the masses as of last week is a final trailer packed with pulsating action, and some unplugged Russian rhymes for good measure.

As for the pitch? The film is reportedly inspired by Gareth Evans’ Indonesian hit thriller, The Raid, and stars actor Ivan Kotik as ex-Spetsnaz operative, Nikita, who embroils himself in with a shady employer to seize a highly-guarded factory, only to go toe-to-toe alongside his team of elite roughnecks, against Russia’s most wanted war criminal.

The film also marks an acting debut for Kotik, following roles in Dragon Blade, The Mermaid and Oleg Stepchenko’s Jackie Chan/Arnold Schwarzenegger epic, Journey To China. What’s more is that Well Go USA is sure to be ushering this one into its library for proper niche consumption by action fans and ardent supporters of the Well Go USA label.

Also starring are powerlifting world record holder Kirill Sarychev and world heavyweight kickboxing champ, Vladimir Mineev. The film is written by Robert Orr and produced by Kryuchkov, Alexander Kalushkin and Raddragon’s Olga Loyanich.
