Following the releases of two anthems and a teaser in the past month, the newest poster is now online for S.S. Rajamouli’s new period thriller, RRR, signaling a December 3 trailer launch. The film stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan as freedom fighters in a story set in the 1920s, with Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris also starring.
Slated for release on January 7, 2022, RRR (also recognized as “Rise, Roar, Revolt”) is one of the biggest and most anticipated films of the new year, after four years of active development, of which three years saw principal photography with a production that stared down the global COVID-19 pandemic before finally wrapping back in August.
The first song the company released was the film’s Mass Anthem, “Naatu Naatu”, a high-energy song featuring both lead actors with mostly snippets of making-of footage carrying the song over. The second is billed as the film’s Soul Anthem, Janani, which you can view in the player just beneath the poster. Enjoy!
