Homable Films is touting its latest effort, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, with an official and extensive new trailer following a teaser rollout back in July. The film teams up leading man Prahbas – star of the upcoming Kalki 2898 A.D. – with director Prashanth Neel who comes off the perpetual success of his two-part period action tête-à-tête, K.G.F., which became a record-breaking box office hit with its second installment last year.
Neel directs from his own script a story that chronicles the boyhood friendship that now shapes the present-day tale of a gang leader who vows to protect a friend whos father’s opponents seek to usurp power through violent, militarized means in the city of Khansaar. Prahbas is joined by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan for the film’s December 22 global release in Telugu with multiple dubs including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
