Currently on K-Movie Entertainment’s slate for the coming markets is 1980-set sci-fi adventure, Seeking The King. The Battle: Roar To Victory helmer Won Shin-yeon is joined by the VFX specialists behind the brilliant Space Sweepers and Hansan: Rising Dragon, and for this, we now get a glimpse of the result in store with a teaser that totally knocks on the door of some childhoods, giant robots and what have you.
In 1980, a giant robot crashlands in the one-of-a-kind village ‘Punchball’ located in the demilitarized zone near the 38th parallel! A remarkable blockbuster robot movie unfolds, depicting the life-or-death struggle of the military officer ‘Do-jin (KOO Kyo-hwan),’ who is determined to protect the people of Punchball from the ruthless attacks of the combined forces of South Korea and the United States, with the extraordinary giant robot ‘Cheol-i’.
