The Blue Skies At Your Feet helmer Yuki Saito will kick off 2024 with a scintillating crime drama out of Nakachika Pictures; Sin And Evil is what the title translates to, with Saito directing from a script he wrote, and actors Kengo Kora, Shunsuke Daito and Takuya Ishida headlining the cast.
The film follows three boyhood friends and the dark reunion that awaits them twenty years after an act of vengeance against the man they believe murdered one of their classmates. When the body of another boy emerges in similar fashion, the trio – Haru (Kora), Akira (Daito), and Saku (Ishida) – are forced to confront their past demons as they look into the truth behind the latest potential crime.
Sin And Evil, a.k.a. Tsumi to Aku, opens in Japan on February 2.
