SPACE AGENTS: THE MYSTERIOUS AXE Trailer Wields Dom Fred’s Ambitious Indie-Animated Sci-Fi Action Debut

If there’s at least one other plus-side to the Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020, it allowed a good deal of breadth for artists and creative looking to captialize off of their newfound spare time. Actor and martial artist Dom Fred found plenty of it at the time, taking full advantage of his background in animation and applying it to his arsenal of animation of film software comprised of Maya, iClone, Character Creator, ActorCore, and Unreal Engine.

The result back then? A five-minute proof-of-concept called “The Soldier,” which now serves as the precursor for his latest feature film effort, Space Agents: The Mysterious Axe, co-produced along with Alick Macaire who also penned the script. MultiVisionaire is repping world sales on the film which screened in Cannes for buyers back in May, with more festival screening announcements and a possible VOD acquisition update pending.

It’s the year 2145. Thanks to the discovery of gravitonium, a mighty force that allows humans to increase their physical and brain capacities tenfold, Earth crisscrossed space and established colonies across the galaxy. In touch with new forms of life, the humans created “The Alliance,” a special unit in charge of the regulation of resources and intergalactic conflicts. But the thirst for domination of the Saurian people, an alien race of great fighters dope with gravitonium, jeopardize the balance in the universe every day. So, when The Alliance’s Espérance ship is attacked, two Alliance Space Agents are tasked to secure the ship. On board, the future of all mankind.

Space Agents: The Mysterious Axe features a voice cast that lists Eli Harris, Jennifer Tra, Alden Schoeneberg, Janet Peters, Ron Garner, Erica Chang, Edwin Beale, Carey Conley, Nathaniel Jenkins, and Lisa Simpson.
