The past six years have probably seen Spider-Man resurrected for cinema more times than I care to count. That hasn’t stopped Sony from trying and with Marvel, they seem to be on better straits these days with all things Spidey, particularly with Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse releasing this Winter.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind “The Lego Movie” and “21 Jump Street,” bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
The trio of Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman company together at the helm from a script by Phil Lord with Dope star Shameik Moore leading the V.O. cast. Also lending their voices are Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez and Lily Tomlin for the new chapter of Spider-Man’s ongoing cinematic multi-verse saga.
