It must be really frustrating that everything you do in life is overshadowed by your mega popular brother, but actually, Frank Stallone can’t really complain, because in all probability without Sylvester, we wouldn’t even be talking about him right now… So, in all likelihood, being aware of that, and knowing that nobody besides himself is going to vindicate his art, Frank has produced this wonderful autobiographical documentary in which with the help of many popular friends, including his mom and his super famous brother, he relates with all sincerity and humbleness, his struggling story with all his lights and many shadows, but overall with the priceless optimism that all those who never give up their dreams, taking all life’s hits keeping always moving forward can only do, cause as all you already know, that’s how winning is done!!!
The feature documentary directed by Derek Wayne Johnson, who previously directed the documentary, “40 years of Rocky”, explores Frank´s underpreciated and long musical career, but also goes deep into his amateur boxing career and his disatrous movie career, where he managed to land some brief roles in some wonderful movies, but became the star in atrocious films where he was only hired because they couldnñt afford his brother.
But what it makes this feature truly attractive, besides of discover Frank´s own legacy beyond being Rocky´s brother, is to listen the same stories that Sylvester has been telling everywhere throughout the years from a completely different point of view…
