It was last year that Lotte Cultureworks took to the Asian Film Market at Busan announcing Steel Rain 2: Summit, a sequel to The Attorney helmer Yang Woo-Suk’s own 2017 webtoon adaptation.
We now have a first look trailer from over at HanCinema that reintroduces returning actors Jung Woo-sung and actor Kwak Do-won, and a story that sees their respective characters, promoted from the first film as South Korea’s president and a North Korean official, who find themselves abducted and trapped in a North Korean submarine following a leaders’ nuclear summit between the U.S. and both Koreas which goes awry.
Also starring are Yoo Yeon-seok and Angus Macfadyen for a 2020 release.
