The first time I spotted actor Sam Lee Herring was while scrolling through stories on my social media in the last several years. He’s garnered a handful of notable film credits, including a few alongside the Martial Club guys with Gladiator Underground and the Shaolin Avengers proof of cocept short, so clearly he’s been cooking for a while.
Enter Stronghold, the latest short from director Reginald Johnson II and featuring Herring in a new psychological martial arts drama alongside the magnetic Peter Mensah, with performances by Jamal Dennis, Anthony Giovanni Elias, and Ti Young. There aren’t any visible plot details I can offer here but there is an official trailer which you can view below.
