A new story teased by the end of Season Two of The Mandalorian has finally received a trailer and release date. The Book of Boba Fett features the return of the beloved bounty hunter, as well as new characters as Fett returns to Tatooine.
In the wake of the death of Jabba the Hutt, the criminal underworld has found a void of power. Fett makes a play to gather power on Tatooine by trying to create a new alliance of the underworld’s key players on the planet, but in the galaxy of Star Wars, things are never that simple. There are many questions and loose ends to tie up; will Fett succeed in his reach for the galaxy underworld’s throne?
Temuera Morrison (Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, Aquaman) and Ming-Na Wen (Agents of Shield, The Darkness) star. Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Spider-Man: Far from Home) Dave Filoni (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Robert Rodriguez (Machette, From Dusk til Dawn), Kathleen Kennedy (The Mandalorian) and Colin Wilson (Terminator 3, Suicide Squad) are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
